With the successful release of 'One Way to Die' we have had many fans comment that the comic could easily cross over to games or cinema. The thought has definately crossed our mind ever since the first word was written. Over the next few months XL Creations will be in contact with game developers to discuss the possibility of the comic becoming a game. If you have any thoughts or opinions on OWTD taking the leap to the world of games then visit the forum page and post your views. Plus if you are a keen gamer and would like to one day control the power of Jac Hammer then spread the word on your favourite chat rooms and forums. |

I found my dream comic Story by Nic XL Gregory I had already searched the stalls for a copy and asked the vendors but had no luck. Then at the end of the last day of Supernova my wife came back from watching the wrestling and said she had seen a copy of Tomb of Dracula number ten - the first appearance of Blade. The only reason she didn't buy it is because she wanted to double check whether it was the right number in the series. Having already asked around I was sure it was going to be a later number or a re-print so I calmly said "That's cool, so where did you see it?", even though in my head I was screaming with joy. I figured I shouldn't get my hopes up but couldn't help it. Years ago I purchased a copy of this comic but it had a torn cover, faded colour, and damage to some inside pages so I was ready to see something similar. I walked up behind the vendor and said straight away "Apparently you have a copy of Tomb of Dracula ten? I'll take it!". Cash in hand, I was ready to pay whatever I had to. The vendor told me it was found randomly sitting in one of their boxes and had only just put out to display, so I was very lucky. Not only did I get it before someone else, but I got to have one of those rare moments when a comic seems to glow and you don't really believe you are about to own it. The condition of the book couldn't have been better. The colour was vibrant, no tears on the pages and only the smallest wear to the corners and spine. It was better than I imagined it would be. Very rarely do you get a chance to find a comic or collectable that becomes a moment you remember and this one was made sweeter because of the successful launch of my comic. What a weekend!
